Pure Roasters Coffee was founded by Robert Sanchez and Don Cunningham, friends and business partners who saw an opportunity to improve the status quo of the specialty coffee scene.
But it wasn’t just about taste and convenience either. Pure Roasters Coffee has always held another goal to democratize the world of specialty coffee while also maintaining a reputation for ethical business practices.
As they progressed towards achieving their mission of providing prestige level quality to the average person on the street, recurring revenue became an even more important choice. Naturally, a subscription business was the right choice for a company offering a product whose mere existence lends itself to regular consumption.

They started selling bags of their house blend to cafe customers and taking feedback on board from every sale. By the time they launched their coffee subscription, they got to 100 subscribers within the first couple of months.
